Charlie & Ben seal European distribution deal

Charlie & Ben Designer Petwear has signed a deal with China-based designer and manufacturer Ispet Designer Petwear to become its sole European distributor. The company will be displaying the range for the first time at Interzoo next week.
Ispet will launch 16 lines at the show including denim skirts, trousers, jogging suits, coats, T-shirts, dresses and dressing gowns for dogs and cats. The recommended retail price of the collection ranges from £11.50 for T-shirts to £29.99 for coats. Pet beds and carriers are to be added to the range next month.
Charlie & Ben co-director Mark Nelson said: "The clothes are practical with a designer edge and they are affordable as well as fashionable. While some companies are pricing themselves out of the market and others sell cheap rubbish, Is Pet provides inexpensive quality."
Charlie & Ben designs its own range of products, which are manufactured by Is Pet managing director Baggio Kou. The Is Pet range will now be stocked alongside Charlie & Ben at the company’s boutique, which opened last month in the Metro Centre, Newcastle, and on the company’s online site. Charlie & Ben hopes to take its own designs to the European market once it has launched Is Pet.
